As a Care Worker, you will provide hands on support to residents, supporting personal care and day to day routines within a care home environment. You will join a close knit team within a care home setting.

What your day could look like

1. Supporting residents with personal care such as washing, dressing and mobility
2. Assisting with meals and ensuring residents are comfortable and safe
3. Following individual care plans and established daily routines
4. Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any concerns to senior staff
5. Working alongside colleagues to deliver consistent, reliable care
6. Supporting the smooth day to day running of the care home

About you

You will be a caring and dependable individual with a practical approach to supporting others. You may already have experience in a care setting or be looking to start a career in care with the right attitude and values. You will be willing to work towards an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care if you do not already hold this qualification. You will be a member of the SSSC and PVG, or willing to join.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
