Job Description
NTM-GB Ltd is a well-structured and growing company, which develops, manufactures, sells, and maintains Refuse Collection Vehicles. We are looking for a Stores Technician to work with our stores team at our Kidderminster site.
The ideal candidate must have warehouse experience and a valid and certified forklift licence and UK driving licence. Please note that there is manual handling involved within this role (training and PPE provided as required).
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Picking of production kits to a schedule
* Responding and dealing with production requests
* Storage, delivery and dispatch of orders e.g. collating pallets of materials to be sent to internal and external customers
* Transportation of parts across and between NTM-GB Ltd sites via internal transportation systems and forklifts
* Active participation in the stock counts
* Receipt of goods in including offloading and completion of receipt documents and processes
Whilst fulfilling the role the successful candidate will be expected to maintain good housekeeping practices and demonstrate responsibility for their personal health and safety and those around them, including risk assessing their own work to ensure safe working practices are being carried out and using Personal Protective Equipment as and when appropriate.
The ideal candidate will be professional and self-motivated with a good customer service ethos and the ability to solve problems alongside a desire to develop and learn. Good communication skills are vital, both in dealing with external and internal customer and any applicants must be confident & flexible enough to work alone and as part of a team. Good organisational skills, time management and administration skills are vital.
The package is dependent on experience, but will include:
* Competitive Salary- negotiable based on experience- Starting rate £12.21 with 3-month probation review (weekly paid)
* Basic Hours - 39 hours a week- Monday- Friday
