Your new role
This is a 50/50 split positionbining the responsibilities of an Electrical Project Manager and an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (QS).
On the project management side, you will be responsible for managingmercial electrical projects from handover through topletion, overseeing programmes, labour, materials, budgets, and client relationships. You will ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required specification, while maintaining excellent standards on site.
Alongside this, you will act as the business’s Qualifying Supervisor, taking ownership of electricalpliance, inspection and testing, certification, and adherence to BS 7671 and relevant industry standards. You will provide technical leadership to site teams and support ongoing quality assurance across the business.
This role suits someone who is equallyfortable managing projects and holding technical responsibility.
What you'll need to succeed
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
AM2 qualification
Proven experience working onmercial electrical projects
Background as an Electrical Project Manager, Senior Electrician, or Supervisor
Strong knowledge of BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)
Experience acting as a Qualifying Supervisor or readiness to step into a QS role
Understanding of NICEIC requirements andpliance processes
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Strongmunication and leadership skills
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
Existing NICEIC QS status
SMSTS or SSSTS
Experiencebining site and office-based responsibilities
