Responsibilities:
* Greet customers and provide them with a warm welcome to the restaurant
* Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
* Upsell menu items and suggest specials to enhance the dining experience
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of food orders
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and workstations
* Assist in food preparation and handling when needed
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
* Handle guest inquiries, comments, and concerns professionally and promptly
Skills:
- Proficiency in restaurant operations and customer service
- Strong upselling skills to increase sales revenue
- Knowledge of kitchen procedures and equipment
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Culinary knowledge to assist in food preparation when required
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on providing exceptional guest services
- Ability to work well in a team environment and offer help where needed
- Understanding of basic math for order processing and transactions
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
