You will join a large, well‑established infrastructure services organisation based in Warwick. Your team will support critical finance operations as part of a wider shared‑services function.
Your new role
As the Finance Shared Services Manager, you will lead a small team overseeing end‑to‑end accounts receivable activity and ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong financial controls across the shared‑services environment. Your key responsibilities within this role will include managing accounts receivable processes and ensuring accurate, timely invoicing. You will oversee debtor management, ensuring invoices are paid on time and improving debt‑collection documentation. You will produce receipt forecast reporting and analysis, driving continuous improvements. You will also review VAT treatments and ensurepliance whilst monitoring and reporting on unallocated cash. You will conduct credit checks and credit limit reviews and also oversee expenses management, including monitoring, reporting, and policy updates. You will be responsible for leading and supervising a shared‑services finance team, so experience of this is essential.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you must have relevant and recent experience in a similar finance role, including line management in a shared‑services environment. You will have strong working knowledge of Oracle, SAP, or other large ERP systems and be able to demonstrate this in your CV and during interview. You will have excellentmunication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels. This role is hybrid working, and you will be required to work in the office in Warwick 2 times per week. You must be able to start this role immediately andmit to an assignment until August.
