Job Location and Department
The post will be based in the dedicated Dermatology department at Croydon University Hospital within Croydon Health Services. Additional work locations, including off-site working, may be agreed upon in your Job Plan where appropriate.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will undertake general dermatology / USC and skin surgery clinics with an interest in teledermatology. The proposed Job Plan is attached. Please note that job plans are subject to review by your Clinical Head of Service and Clinical Director.

The Trust was established on 1st August 2010 through the integration of Croydon Community Health Services & Mayday Healthcare NHS Trust. It employs around 3,500 staff serving a population of over 340,000 people, characterized by a relatively young demographic and high ethnic diversity.
Department and Team
The department includes 5 consultants with specialties such as paediatric dermatology, Mohs surgery, complex surgery, vulval dermatology, photodermatology, and a plastic surgeon with weekly clinics. The team also comprises:
* 2 Specialty doctors
* 1 Trust grade Registrar
* 1 Prescribing pharmacist for systemic treatments and isotretinoin
* 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Clinics led by nurses include patch testing, phototherapy, teledermatology, and biopsy lists. The team works closely with the maxillofacial team and maintains strong links with local hospitals in the southwest London network. There are also teaching opportunities at St George's Medical School and in-house medical student rotations.
