Your role as a SEN/SEND Primary tutor
* You will design personalised lessons that engage, inspire, and help learners that demonstrate Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD), or other additional educational needs progress.
* Deliver tuition sessions directly with students in their own homes or schools - in-person tuition only.
* Regular monitoring of learner progress through regular reports, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
* Transform the lives of disengaged, at-risk learners within Hounslow backed by the support of our committed Tuition Consultants. Regardless if you are a qualified teacher or an experienced tutor, this role is ideal for those eager to work via flexible 1:1 tutoring with young people demonstrating a variety of learning needs in a holistic, creative manner. Engagement is our aim for such placements - through your passionate support, together we will improve every young learner's outlook of their journey throughout education.
Requirements for our SEN/SEND Primary tutors
* A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
* QTS preferred but not essential.
* Minimum of 6 months teaching or tutoring experience in the UK, with an emphasis on working with learners demonstrating SEN/SEND.
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
* 2 references related to your work in education - covering the last 2 years of your employment.
* Enhanced DBS check (Can be obtained through Fleet if required at a cost).
* A commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.
