Are you an experienced Carer looking for flexible hours that fit around your personal life?
A residential home in the Chaddesden area of Derby are seeking Care Assistants to support them in the daily running of the service.
The Care team specialise in illnesses related to old age, such as Alzheimer’s Disease or physical mobility issues.
Responsibilities
* Providing a high standard of care
* Following individual support plans
* Personal care
* Moving and handling
* Completing company paperwork
* Completing light household duties
About you / Requirements
This opportunity will be perfect for someone who is naturally kind, caring and compassionate as well as supportive and encouraging. You will need to be a good listener and have patience and understanding.
* An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
* Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training
* At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
Due to the location of the home, it is recommended that you have access to your own transport.
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
This is an ongoing role with potential for a permanent position.
Hours
Typical hours include:
* 07:00 to 14:30
* 14:30 to 21:00
* 07:00 to 21:00
Hours are on an as required basis from Monday to Sunday.
Pay
The rates of pay for this role are:
* £12.35 per hour (Mon to Fri)
* £12.85 per hour (Sat and Sun)
