Overview
Henderson House Care Home is a well established 60‑bed nursing, residential and dementia care service in Dalgety Bay, Fife. The Home Manager will lead the improvement plan, reinforce clinical governance, and embed person‑centred standards of care to drive quality and support the dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the home’s improvement plan and embed consistent person‑centred standards of care.
- Reinforce robust clinical governance and safe, effective care processes.
- Provide clear, visible leadership and support the resident‑care team.
- Engage with stakeholders, regulatory bodies and the community.
- Manage budgets, commercial awareness and work to grow occupancy.
Qualifications
- Credible and resilient leader who can inspire confidence and bring people together.
- Proven success leading a care home through improvement or development.
- Experience managing a service of 40+ beds with nursing and dementia provision.
- Visible, hands‑on leadership style that promotes high standards and open communication.
- Strong stakeholder and regulatory engagement skills.
- Commercial awareness with a track record of building occupancy and managing budgets.
- Registered Nurse (NMC) desirable, but not essential for candidates with strong leadership and turnaround experience.
- Local knowledge beneficial but not essential – integrity, presence and authenticity matter most.
Contract and Compensation
- Full‑time, contract hours.
- Up to £60,000 per annum (DOE)
- £5,000 Welcome Bonus
- Performance‑related bonus up to 40% of salary per annum
