What You'll Be Doing: You'll manage a variety of responsibilities across the conveyancing process, ensuring client needs are met with professionalism and care. Key Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with clients in person, via email, and by phone Manage files using a digital case management system Take and follow client instructions with precision Prioritise client protection, including fraud prevention and AML compliance Send terms of engagement and cost estimates to clients Obtain and review Land Registry documents and title deeds Draft and check contracts for sale and purchase Liaise with other conveyancers to agree contract terms Verify all legal and financial documents Handle the financial aspects of transactions Manage contract exchange and transaction completion Oversee leasehold matters such as landlord agreements and service charges Purchase-Specific Duties: Raise and respond to enquiries on draft contracts for various property types Process Help to Buy and Lifetime ISA paperwork where required Carry out and review pre-contract searches Review mortgage instructions and ensure lender requirements are met Prepare and manage transfer deeds, mortgage documentation, stamp duty, and registration Want to find out more?
