We are seeking a Production Technician with experience in calibrations and the ability to work safely in an environment where high-strength magnets are used daily. The role involves testing components on power fixtures in line with established methods, including Outline Drawings, ATPs, and SOPs. Familiarity with Lean and 5S principles would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
* Test, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and adjust electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical equipment and devices.
* Carry out calibrations and repairs on associated equipment.
* Ensure all products meet manufacturing specifications; take corrective action when required.
* Identify and address requirements for returned products to restore functionality.
* Maintain accurate data and records in the required formats.
* Support the safe and compliant operation of the unit, following environmental, health, and safety standards.
* Collaborate with other Technicians to complete daily activities and projects.
* Assist in training and supporting new Production Technicians as the department grows.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability.
* Knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems.
* Competent in computer use, including keyboard and mouse.
* Forklift licence holder.
* High attention to detail with a strong commitment to Health & Safety.
* Experience working in controlled environments using Lean and 5S practices.
* Ability to work safely in a magnetised area (note: this role is unsuitable for anyone with a pacemaker).
