Translator (Japanese – FIGS) - What You'll Be Doing:
* Translating video game-related materials from Japanese to FIGS.
* Proofreading translations to ensure accuracy and localisation quality.
* Collaborating with in-house professionals and project coordinators.
* Translating or proofreading from English as required.
* Adapting content to align with local culture and preferences.
* Managing multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Translator (Japanese – FIGS) - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
* Proven experience in translation/localisation, especially in the gaming industry.
* Native-level proficiency in FIGS languages with cultural expertise.
* Ability to use technical translation tools and adapt to new software.
* Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
* Professional experience in translating/proofreading video games from Japanese to FIGS (French, Italian, German, Spanish).
* Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
