As an Apprentice Kitchen Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing, cooking, and presenting food that meets specifications and customer expectations.
* Maintaining hygiene standards and safety regulations in the kitchen to ensure safety for the team and visitors.
* Communicating clearly with your team to deliver high-quality meals on time.
* Staying updated with new products, menus, and promotions.
Your apprenticeship includes:
* Regular face-to-face and virtual catch-ups every 4-6 weeks to discuss feedback and progress.
* A mix of on- and off-the-job training, including workshops and webinars.
* Reviews every 12 weeks with your Line Manager and apprenticeship Trainer.
* Opportunities to attain Functional Skills in English and Maths if you do not already have GCSEs.
* Completion of a Level 2 Production Chef qualification through the Chef Academy after the 15-month program.
