As Group People Advisor you will report to a Senior Business Partner and will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
* Supporting the management of TUPE transfers into the business ensuring compliance with TUPE legislation, undertaking due diligence, liaising with vendors and providing risk analysis of upcoming deals.
* Liaise professionally with internal and external Legal Teams regarding M&A risks, contracts and employment law.
* Supporting ongoing aspects of acquisition onboarding and business integration.
* Providing professional, confident, pro-active and business focused Human Resources advice and support to all managers and employees whilst promoting HR best practice.
* Supporting Managers with the effective and efficient performance of all employees.
* Providing an advisory service to employees ensuring that they are fully aware of their rights and entitlements.
* Providing advice and assistance on policies, procedures and legislation.
* Offer advice, arrange and support disciplinary and grievance hearings, escalating concerns to Senior Business Partner.
* Supporting the People Business Partner and Department in delivery of HR elements of organisational and cultural change activities.
* Assisting with employee queries.
* Act within the boundaries set out by the company's policies to ensure sensitive personal information is protected as required by law, regulatory bodies, ethics and best practice.
* Any other duties that may be required within the scope of the role.
Qualifications
* CIPD Qualified (Level 5 preferable) or equivalent experience.
* Proven TUPE experience essential, confident with due diligence, risk analysis and TUPE legislation, must be able to demonstrate experience.
* Good understanding of employment law.
* Ability to write and present information, business cases and proposals.
* Multi-site experience.
* Confident/exceptional IT skills and use of HR Systems.
* Intermediate to advanced excel skills.
* Excellent written, verbal and organisational skills.
* Experience of interpreting, advising and implementing policies and procedures.
* Leading projects and implementing new initiatives.
* HR Advisory experience dealing with a range of ER queries, AWOL, Probation, Disciplinary and Grievance.
* Self-starter, highly organised and ability to adapt to multiple priorities.
* A 'can-do' attitude with problem solving skills.
* Flexible and adaptable approach.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent diligence and mindfulness.
* Commercial awareness.
* Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Details
* Location: Home Based, however travel to Chorley HQ every 6-8 weeks
* Hours: Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm with a one-hour break (35 hours)
* Salary: Competitive, dependant on experience and qualifications (available upon request)
