Maintenance Supervisor Liverpool Street, London £52,000 – £54,000 We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join a dedicated engineering team responsible for a prestigious 50-storey commercial tower near Liverpool Street. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineer or Supervisor looking to advance their career and take ownership of a key operational area within a busy high-rise environment. You will supervise one on-site engineer and oversee the maintenance of approximately six tenant floors, ensuring all building systems run safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards. As part of a larger building services team, you will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and associated systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead, support, and oversee the work of one engineer on-site. Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and respond to reactive maintenance needs. Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, fire alarms, emergency lighting, and BMS controls. Ensure all repair and corrective works meet statutory safety and compliance requirements. Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Complete reports, logbooks, RAMS, and permits to work. Communicate with tenants and client representatives regarding maintenance queries and updates. Support the wider building engineering team when required. Requirements: City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Strong background in building services maintenance. Previous experience supervising or leading a small engineering team. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong task-prioritisation skills.
