Immediately 3rd Shift Temp-to-Hire Steel Fabricator Jobs in Carlisle, IA!
Pay: $24.00-$27.00/ hour (DOE)
Hours: 6:00pm-6:00am (Monday – Thursday)
*Ability to train on days 2-4 weeks
Duties:
* Monitor inventory and submit orders as needed
* Inspect and maintain tools, equipment and machinery
* Unload and position prefabricated steel units for hoisting
* Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts
* Fasten structural steel members to hoist cables, using chains, cables, or rope
* Cut, bend, or weld steel pieces, using metal shears, torches, or welding equipment
* Fabricate steel frames, columns, beams, or girders
* Measure, cut and bend rebar
* Examine work pieces and defects and measure work pieces to ensure conformance with specifications.
Requirements:
* 2-year trade school preferred or equivalent experience (4 years)
* Stick and wire welding experience
* Ability to read blueprints
* Position could involve working outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme heat or cold
