An exciting opportunity has arisen within East Region for a Head of Ambulance Services position. Post holder’s base will be determined at interview although there will be a requirement for the successful candidate to provide a visible leadership presence across the Borders operational area. This Head of Service post will have a regional remit leading on workstreams as appropriate across all of East Region in addition to direct line management responsibility for the Borders sub-region. The post holder will be expected to engage with partners within the NHS and externally at a strategic level. This is a Senior Post within the Region, and the successful candidate will be an individual who has a proven track record at middle management level (e.g. Area Service Manager or other appropriate management experience) and can demonstrate a proven ability of achievement in operations and in delivering strategic objectives.
