Daily Rate: £80-£110 (depending on experience)

A welcoming and specialist school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. * Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for students with autism and additional needs
* Support the delivery of personalised learning and therapy activities aligned with EHCP targets
* Help develop pupils' social, communication, and life skills through effective scaffolding
* Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation using supportive strategies
* Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure holistic support
* Assist with personal care where appropriate, respecting individual needs
* Maintain accurate records and help monitor student progress in line with school and EHCP guidelines
* Previous SEN experience is desirable but not essential
* Calm, patient, and compassionate approach to support inclusion
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Willingness to learn, engage in ongoing training, and contribute to best practices
* Dependable, flexible, and committed to fostering an inclusive school culture
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
