The successful applicant will support the bigger picture, understanding and reacting to the wider needs of the business. Building strong relationships across all levels, the role will support the entire leadership team to drive a continuous improvement culture, gaining buy-in from customers, suppliers and employees and ensuring best practice implementation. They will have a 'hands-on' style, ensuring improvement plans and actions are aligned with broader company strategy through frequent engagement with the Factory Manager.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:
As a critical member of the management team, the Operations Support Lead will be responsible for the implementation, management and successful operation of the C.I. agenda across the site.
SAFETY
They will also support the team to develop a strong safety culture and will take a leading role in the 'Risk' team by promoting accountability of the wider team for root cause and corrective actions resulting from risk assessments, near misses, safety concerns and accidents.
PROJECTS
The Operations Support Lead will support the team to help deliver projects "on-time, on-cost and on-purpose" by promoting accountability of the wider team to achieve project components. The job holder will take a lead role in a number of break-through projects.
