Please note: this role does not involve outbound sales - you’ll be providing vital administrative support to the sales function. You will work onsite 5 days per week. What you’ll get * Salary: c£25k - £27kpa * Early finish every Friday * Generous staff sales with significant discounts * 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service, and additional holiday incentives * Health & Safety voucher scheme to reward safe working About you * 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role in sales administration or customer service * A true team player who enjoys working collaboratively in a lively, hands-on manufacturing environment * Confidence to liaise across departments, including shop floor staff, to resolve customer queries around quality or lead times * Someone who thrives under pressure and can handle a high volume of queries and order processing * Strong systems skills – previous experience with SAP or similar systems is highly desirable * A proactive problem solver who takes initiative and brings solutions to the table About the role * Ensuring all sales orders are accurately received and transferred to SAP for production * Co-ordinating order intake with production capacity and transport availability to meet customer expectations * Handling customer enquiries, complaints, and credit requests, and liaising with NPD, Quality, and Credit Control * Managing delivery schedules and customer collection arrangements * Representing the team in manufacturing and transport meetings, sharing updates and gathering feedback * Processing orders through the internal system * Occasionally delivering product-specific sales training to retail customers * Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties * This is a full-time, permanent position based on-site in Glossop (please note: hybrid working is not currently offered) The Company * This is a long-standing UK textile manufacturer with a proud heritage and strong core values. * With a loyal workforce - many with 30 years’ service, they pride themselves on stability, quality, and reinvestment in people and production. * Supplying to well-known high street retailers as well as manufacturers, they offer an excellent working environment and a chance to become part of something lasting.
