Job Description:
A leading regional civil engineering and utilities services company is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead design delivery on a key water infrastructure framework in Yorkshire. You will oversee a range of projects from early concept through to construction support, working within a collaborative and forward-thinking design team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate civil and drainage designs to UK water industry standards
* Manage internal teams and external consultants
* Ensure quality assurance, client satisfaction, and adherence to health & safety standards
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical excellence
Requirements:
* Degree-qualified Civil Engineer (chartered or working towards chartership preferred)
* Strong experience in drainage design and infrastructure projects within the UK water sector
* Proficient in design software (e.g., MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, Civils3D)
* Full UK driving licence required
