Job Duties:
* Provide English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Deliver outreach sessions to support students in improving their literacy and numeracy skills
* Create personalised learning plans based on individual student needs and abilities
* Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
* Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a supportive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Specialist knowledge in teaching English and Maths to students with SEN
* Experience working with Key Stage 3 students
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis in learners homes or local libraries. The tutor will need to travel to different locations within Manningtree to deliver outreach sessions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
