Our Opportunity:
This full-time Systems IVVQ Engineer will work on various projects within the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) business, performing IVVQ activities for assigned projects.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Demonstrating that the solution satisfies the overall approved operational needs set out by the customer.
2. Test and Integration
3. Test Specification Writing
4. Test execution
5. Problem investigation
What are we looking for?
Skills:
* An understanding of System Engineering and related processes, including knowledge of System Lifecycles.
* Ability to work with various technologies, integrating and verifying them into a system to fully satisfy customer requirements.
* Experience in collaborative working with multiple stakeholders and disciplines to establish a system-centric approach.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of explaining complex technical problems appropriately for the audience.
* A team player with a “can-do” attitude, effective in multi-disciplinary teams.
* Eligibility for SC security clearance.
Experience:
* Bachelor Degree (BEng, BSc) in a scientific or engineering subject or equivalent experience.
* Experience in requirements management using DOORS.
* Proven experience leading or working in IVVQ of solutions/products.
* Knowledge of the engineering lifecycle from concept to test and acceptance.
This role requires SC Clearance. If not currently held, the successful candidate will need to undergo and maintain SC Clearance. Visit the UKSV website for guidance.
To be eligible for full SC, residence in the UK for the last 5 years is generally required, with some circumstances allowing a minimum of 3 years.
