Overview
Our client empowers scientists, researchers, and innovators with world-leading microscopy solutions. We’re looking for a driven Account Manager to join a first-class Research Microscopy Solutions team — someone who thrives on building relationships, spotting opportunities, and turning them into lasting partnerships. The role is field-based — you’ll be out meeting customers, visiting research sites, attending exhibitions, and representing the business at industry events.
Responsibilities
* Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
* Identify sales opportunities across the entire microscopy portfolio.
* Manage the full sales process — from lead generation and product demonstrations to quotation, tender submission, and contract negotiation.
* Collaborate with your regional team to deliver sales excellence and meet shared targets.
* Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences.
* Keep CRM data accurate and up-to-date, and provide reliable sales forecasts.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in scientific, technical, or high-value capital equipment sectors.
* Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage a territory, prioritise opportunities, and work independently.
* Comfortable with frequent travel across your region (and occasionally further afield).
* CRM experience (Salesforce preferred) and strong administrative discipline.
Why Apply?
* Work for a globally respected brand at the forefront of optical and imaging technology.
* Engage with leading research institutions, universities, and scientific organisations.
* Be part of a collaborative team culture with ongoing training and career development.
* Competitive salary, bonus scheme, and benefits package.
Apply today and bring your passion for science and sales. Together, we'll push the boundaries of possibility.
