Job Description
3. Support and manage sourcing events aligned to the Annual Procurement Plan and ad-hoc business requirements
4. Act as the first point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders on sourcing and contract queries
5. Support contract management activities to maximise value and manage supplier performance
6. Maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL) ensuring supplier competence and accreditation
7. Promote and ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures and governance
8. Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on procurement systems and initiatives (e.g. SRM tools)
9. Assist in the development and implementation of new procurement policies and processes
The Successful Applicant
10. Demonstrable procurement experience and/or MCIPS qualification with practical, end-to-end tendering experience
11. Strong commercial awareness with a sound understanding of contract terms and supplier management
12. Good working knowledge of EU procurement regulations and best-practice processes
13. Confident stakeholder manager, able to influence and support at pace
14. Proactive self-starter with strong ownership and accountability
15. Experience using procurement systems and ERP platforms (ideally SAP S/4, Ariba or similar)
