Join the Oldham Lifelong Learning Service team

Play a key role in shaping high-quality learning experiences for our community. As a vital member of the team, you'll lead the development, delivery, and monitoring of quality across curriculum programmes. You'll ensure the service meets all accreditation and funding requirements, while supporting the implementation of policies, procedures, and effective advice and guidance processes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact in adult education and lifelong learning.


Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor quality across the service, ensuring compliance and supporting staff to demonstrate and achieve exemplary practice.
2. Analyze quality data, implement quality actions, and contribute to curriculum planning, the Self-Assessment Report, and Quality Improvement Plan.
3. Manage the quality of cross-curricular staff, including identifying and planning staff development and training needs.
4. Plan, coordinate, and support advice and guidance to learners to ensure engagement, achievement, and progression aligned with Matrix standards.
5. Ensure service standards meet GMCA, Ofsted, and other agency requirements, achieving targets and full compliance with funding and accreditation rules.
6. Interpret, develop, and implement assessment and accreditation procedures.
7. Analyze and interpret data related to quality assurance and improvement processes, presenting findings effectively to various audiences.
8. Engage effectively with stakeholders using strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in delivering high-quality advice, guidance, and implementing IAG systems is preferred.
