Commercial Business Development Manager We’re looking for a Commercial BDM to join our dynamic Mid-Market team, playing a vital role in driving revenue growth and supporting the success of our larger business customers (GTV £1m–£10m). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, sales/account manager environment and is passionate about helping businesses scale with tailored Epos Now solutions. You’ll own the full sales cycle from discovery to close, engaging directly with key stakeholders, understanding complex needs, and delivering impactful solutions across our product ecosystem—including POS, Payments, Banking, and Capital. Responsibilities Own and manage the full commercial sales lifecycle for mid-market customers. Self-generate leads and convert inbound leads from marketing and business activity. Build and maintain a strong pipeline, forecasting accurately via Salesforce. Deliver tailored demos and proposals, showcasing our SaaS products’ value. Drive product adoption across Epos Now's suite, achieving 75% payments penetration. Engage in at least 20 client meetings per month—mix of face-to-face and video. Negotiate and finalise contracts (3–5 year terms) in collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Product. Ensure accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting and closed/lost analysis. Attend industry events and roadshows, representing Epos Now as a trusted advisor. Maintain deep knowledge of product roadmap and actively share customer feedback on features, blockers, or integration requests. Key Skills & Competencies Proven consultative sales ability— mid-market or B2B SaaS preferred. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of long-term contract value. Adept at identifying and qualifying business value before committing resource. Skilled in Salesforce and data-driven sales reporting/forecasting. Comfortable with presenting to senior stakeholders and decision-makers. Resilient, proactive, and target-driven with strong pipeline management habits. Experience & Targets 3 years in a B2B sales role (preferably SaaS or tech). Experience in selling to multi-site businesses and navigating complex sales cycles. Previous success in meeting/exceeding KPIs Why This Role?
