Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of The Stores restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards in food preparation and service. The Restaurant Manager will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for both guests and staff while driving the success of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

* Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards.
* Lead, train, and motivate kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service.
* Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
* Develop and implement training programmes for new employees on food safety and service protocols.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.
* Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
* Collaborate with chefs to create seasonal menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
* Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations.

Experience

* Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential.
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervising staff.
* Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and equipment usage.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers.
* A background in hotel or hospitality management is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £32,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
