Requirements
The duties of this position involve regulated work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a PVG Scheme member for regulated work with these groups, or if already a member, to undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update, before a formal offer of employment can be made by East Ayrshire Council. PVG records are continuously updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a temporary full-time position until 28th June 2026, based at St Joseph's Academy, Kilmarnock. The role involves working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, under the direction of the line manager. The salary ranges from £40,305 to £50,589 per annum.
