Radis Community Care has an opportunity for a part time Support Worker/Companion and for our Supported Living Service, in Halifax and surrounding areas of Kirklees and Calderdale.
About the role
The lady we support is in her 40's and suffers with Arthritis. This lady loves to be out in the community and attend activites for example, swimming, Pilates, and shopping. She has a great sense of houmour and is looking for a lady to be able to share these good times with.
A full clean driving licence will be needed to support the lady and be able to drive her automatic car, although your own vehicle is not needed.
We provide support for daily living skills and help support with socialisation,accessing the community, and attending appointments.
We recognise each person as an individual and provide a unique service which is person centred and tailored to their needs. The role is to promote the individual’s independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering the best standards of support.
Shifts, 22 hours over the week including various shifts and alternate weekends.
