Aircraft Mechanics are required for day and night shifts (7 - 7), working on a range of corporate and executive jets. Excellent training and prospects are available. The role operates on a 5 on, 5 off, 4 on, 5 off, 5 on, 4 off shift pattern and involves supporting licensed aircraft engineers with the repair and maintenance of fixed wing and rotary aircraft.
You should be apprentice trained with a minimum of 2 years' experience in aircraft mechanics, particularly on corporate jets such as Embraer and Bombardier.
Main Responsibilities
* Perform maintenance tasks under the guidance of a Licensed Engineer, ensuring all documentation is accurately completed.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, focusing on your designated area.
* Adhere to company and Health and Safety procedures at all times.
* Manage contract staff effectively, ensuring they work within quality system guidelines.
* Coordinate labour and resources with the Licensed Engineer.
* Manage aircraft towing operations and maintain company assets.
* Provide daily progress reports and participate in project meetings.
* Undertake additional duties as required by Shift Supervisors, Hangar Manager, or Head of Maintenance.
Accountabilities
* Uphold the latest technical data standards in all maintenance work.
* Ensure high-quality work that meets or exceeds regulatory standards.
* Organise and execute work efficiently, supervising direct reports in your area.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in aircraft maintenance.
* Completion of a recognised aircraft mechanic apprenticeship.
* Proficiency in computer use.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Full, clean UK Driving Licence.
