Your contribution to our company
* Senior ProjectAccountant is responsible for maintaining and ensuring integrity of ledgers andcontrol environment for the project, whilst building close working relationshipswith the commercial and delivery teams.
* Production of monthly and ad-hoc reporting requirements including rolling forecasts, cash-flows, balance sheet reconciliations other reporting requirements.
* Understand the commercial contracts in use in order to challenge the commercial position ensuring reporting represents a fair and accurate reflection on contract performance
* Work closely with the Senior Management to improve project reporting and reduce commercial risk.
* Ensure accurate and timely billing of costs to the client including subsequent management and collection of aged debts.
* Ensure cash forecasts are robustly prepared and accurately reported.
* Work with commercial teams to minimise the WIP position and achieve cash collection targets
* Provide governance around the project delegated authority process to ensure compliance at all times and provision of controls to eliminate non-conforming authorisations, purchases and retrospective purchase orders.
* Oversee production of staff utilisation forecasts to reduce non-productivity and provide an accurate forecast of staff recoverability
* Expenses management covering processing and compliance to company policies
