NHS Lothian welcomes applications from newly qualifying midwives for Band 5 Preceptorship Midwife positions, both permanent and temporary. These roles will help you consolidate your training and deliver comprehensive midwifery care across all settings, including Community, Outpatient, and Inpatient services within the Lothian Maternity Service.
As a newly registered midwife and autonomous practitioner, you will plan and implement maternity care for high- and low-risk women within an integrated service. You will lead management of low-risk pregnancies and births, working closely with a multi-professional team in both acute and primary care settings.
