Our Opportunity

As our Lean Leader, you will be the go-to expert, transforming our manufacturing processes from the ground up. You will work closely with our industrial teams, sharing your expertise, and leading by example. Your mission is to embed a Lean continuous improvement mind-set into every corner of our operations, making sure efficiency and innovation are part of our culture. You will drive tactical transformations, deliver high-impact training sessions, and foster a culture of operational excellence. Be the spearhead of change and the voice of Lean within our manufacturing operations.


About You

We are looking for a proactive leader with a passion for driving change and empowering teams. You should have:

1. Proven experience in Lean manufacturing and strong knowledge of Lean tools and practises.

2. Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.

3. Expertise in flow improvement techniques.

4. The ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.

This role requires SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held, but if not, the successful applicant will need to undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance. Please visit the UKSV website for guidance.

To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some cases, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.

Additional Information

In line with Thales' security requirements, candidates will need to provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK, and employment/education history for up to three years. Some roles may require full Security Clearance, which could involve further checks.
