About The Role
In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person working here understands that our Residents are individuals with their own stories, just like everyone else. Key Responsibilities
1. Planning and implementing activities that delight our Residents.
2. Assisting the Home Manager in organising essential fundraising events.
3. Encouraging Residents to socialise more confidently and engaging the care home team in activities based on Residents' hobbies.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably developing activity programmes.
* Positive energy and a natural ability to connect with people.
* Strong planning, organisational, and IT skills.
* Considerate and kind communication with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding
All colleagues must recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. Training will be provided, and colleagues are expected to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed.
