ATMS
Our ATMS business has heritage in the development, manufacture,sustainmentand support of secondary surveillance radar technology. Out technology is relied upon to marshal more than two-thirds of the world’s air traffic due to its precision accuracy and ability to detectaircrafteven within the most crowded airspace. Designed and manufactured in the UK, our products are exported globally to RTX customers in more than 45 countries.
Role&Responsibilities
About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Programme Engineering Manager to join our Air Traffic Management Systems team for the delivery of class leading new and upgraded systems to a global base of customers
As the key IPT (Integrated Programme Team) member for engineering for one or more of our projects.
Required experience
16. Proven expertise in managing delivery of complex multi-disciplined development programmes, using discretion in tailoring effectively to meet challenging programme needs.
17. Extensive experience in systems engineering and guidance of multidiscipline, high-performance teams (cross-functional experience highly desirable) through engineering development cycle.
18. Clear understanding of financial management and impacts on programmes
19. Demonstrated competency for strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management.
20. Demonstrated competency in relating efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
21. Proven ability to work independently, as well as a member of a team and ability to advise programme teams and stakeholders.
22. Broad based technical background with experience in systems design and integration.
23. Knowledge of software development and delivery methodologies
24. BSc / BEng. in Engineering, Science, or Aeronautical Engineering.
Desirable experience
25. Experience within UK/US International defence industry or similar adjacent industry
