Overview
Center For Family Services is seeking a professional, culturally sensitive individual for the Trauma Recovery Center to conduct clinical intakes, individual and group psychotherapy, and care coordination using evidence-based practices for survivors of crime. The Trauma Recovery Center works within a trauma-informed, hope-centered framework that creates an environment whose daily practices promote the well-being of both staff and those we serve.
Location and Status
Location: Camden. Hybrid work environment (in person, telehealth, or community setting).
Job Type/Status: Full Time
Duties and Responsibilities
* Conduct clinical intakes and counseling using a trauma-informed approach and identify service needs for survivors of community violence, sexual violence, domestic violence, human trafficking, vehicular violence, and other crimes.
* Develop a service plan that is hope-centered and includes long-term goals, short-term objectives, and interventions.
* Facilitate care coordination of services among various agencies and link clients to needed services.
* Promote and demonstrate cultural humility in client care and staff interactions that respond respectfully to the strengths and skills of diverse ethnicities and cultures, languages, socio-economic classes, disabilities, religions, genders, sexual orientation, and other diversity-related factors.
* Participate in clinical supervision in accordance with the guidelines of their professional organization.
* Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, case conference meetings, agency-wide meetings, and conferences.
* Attend trainings and receive certifications in TF-CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety, and other trauma-specific interventions.
* May provide presentations or workshops to community partners.
* Complete documentation and the Level of Service as identified in the grant.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
* MSW or MA in social work, counseling, or a related field.
* NJ License required: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, or LAC.
* Knowledge in trauma informed care and adverse childhood experiences.
* Experience providing individual and group counseling.
* Work in a hybrid environment and evenings as needed.
* Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
* Valid driver’s license, insurance, and clean driving record.
