Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting for a leading global professional services organisation to recruit a Financial Accountant for their Belfast office. Due to an immediate requirement, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to join an innovative, forward thinking business. As a key member of a highly experienced finance team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high quality financial management,mercial reporting and meaningful analysis to support the Belfast operation.
Your new role
1. Maintain strong financial controls and support accurate month end reporting.
2. Oversee core finance processes including accounts payable, expenses, fixed assets, journals and accruals.
3. Carry out reconciliations and balance sheet reviews and assist with audit preparation.
4. Producemercial and management reporting, including revenue, WIP, debt and KPI analysis.
5. Provide financial insights to support decision making and highlight trends or risks.
6. Support the development of financial dashboards and performance analysis.
7. Assist with budgeting, forecasting and general financial planning activities.
8. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple regions to support operational andmercial priorities.
What you'll need to succeed
9. Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 2–5 years post qualification experience.
10. Strong technical accounting expertise.
11. Experience in management accounting andmercial reporting.
12. Advanced analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
13. Excellentmunication skills, able to simplifyplex financial information.
14. Proficient in Excel and financial systems.
