Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) – Supporting your mental health and overall wellness About the Role As a Senior Project Planner, you'll be responsible for facilitating the planning, scheduling, and performance tracking of major construction projects. You'll coordinate with Project Managers, Main Contractors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring timelines are realistic, risks are flagged, and schedules reflect project realities. Key Responsibilities Planning & Scheduling Develop detailed construction schedules from high-level targets and WBS Lead the labour loading of schedules based on commercial inputs Coordinate with Main Contractors to integrate and negotiate optimal timelines Present and explain project timelines to site teams and leadership Maintain compliance with planning processes and contractual requirements Monitoring & Reporting Weekly performance tracking (labour, efficiency, earned/spent hours) Produce and update progress reports, drop-line schedules, and dashboards Monitor project health with “look ahead” meetings and schedule forecasts Escalate risks early and advise on mitigation strategies Team & Stakeholder Engagement Act as the main planning contact for the Project Manager Mentor Junior Planners as required Collaborate with Commercial, Engineering, and Site Teams Drive continuous improvement in planning tools and reporting templates What We’re Looking For Qualifications: HNC/HND/BSc in Engineering (or equivalent experience) Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in planning electrical or mechanical engineering contracts Skills: Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 (essential) Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills Capable of sequencing, duration estimating, and performance tracking Ability to guide stakeholders through planning and risk identification Apply Now and Shape the Future with ASEE Group To Apply: [Insert Application Link or Email] Visit Us: [Insert Company Website or Careers Page] ASEE is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
