Join a dynamic, newly formed branch of an established freight forwarding company rooted in Europe. With a strong foundation and the backing of head office, They operate their own fleet of trucks, delivering exceptional logistics solutions across the UK and Europe. They are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to help them build upon their client base and establish a stronger presence in the UK market.

Role Overview:

As a Roadfreight Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth of the full load road freight business. They are seeking a candidate with a robust network and a proven ability to generate new business opportunities.

Your primary focus will be to establish and nurture relationships with clients, contributing to the overall success of their new Ipswich branch.

Key Responsibilities:


* Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the client portfolio for full load road freight services.
* Leverage your existing network to establish immediate business opportunities.
* Conduct client visits across the UK and Europe to foster relationships and close deals.
* Collaborate with the head office to align on business goals and strategies.
* Work closely with the operational team to build a strong operational foundation for the branch.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.

What they Offer:

Competitive salary of up to 55,000, commensurate with experience.

Performance-based commission of 10% paid the following month after achieving targets. Flexible working from home options, while encouraging office presence to strengthen team dynamics.

A car allowance to facilitate client visits and travel.

Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience in business development within the road freight industry.

A strong network of contacts that can be leveraged for immediate client engagement.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.

A Willingness to travel for client visits in the UK and Europe.
