What Our Graduates Say

"Joining Raytheon UK as a Manufacturing Graduate has been the perfect transition from university into industry. I’ve been trusted with real responsibility from the start and have worked on exciting, hands-on projects that make an impact. The mix of experienced engineers, apprentices and other graduates creates a great environment where you’re constantly learning and supported.

The Graduate Development Programme has also been a real highlight, giving me the chance to meet graduates from different sites and functions and feel part of a wider community. I’d definitely recommend the Manufacturing stream and the GDP to anyone who wants to develop quickly, work on meaningful projects and start their career in a company that invests in you. " – Sean, 2024 Graduate Manufacturing Engineer

"Joining the Raytheon Graduate Development Programme (GDP) as a Graduate Manufacturing Electronics Engineer has allowed me to successfully transition between university and the job industry. As a new graduate I have already been given great responsibilities and been very much engaged in the full operations within the company, with many great engineers, managers and other employees who have been very welcoming and supportive from the start. As a graduate I don't feel afraid to ask questions as everyone understands that I am still learning and I am encouraged to question current processes, as being a new set of eyes within the company has been emphasised, as being crucial for future development.

The GDP itself has been very beneficial to me so far, allowing me to connect with people across the whole of the UK, not just engineers but other company employees in which I probably wouldn't have had that opportunity to connect with otherwise. The GDP is extremely insightful and beneficial for growth not just as an employee but on a personal level, working on enhancing everyday skills such as communication, Teamwork, Leadership and more. It has taught me of couple things about myself in which I think has already been benefiting me." – Cole, 2025 Graduate Manufacturing Electronics Engineer
