Our client, a premium franchise‑approved car dealership located in North Bristol, is looking for a dedicated Service Advisor to join their busy Service Department. Duties of a Service Advisor
* Greet customers and book their vehicles in for service and repairs, ensuring a seamless experience
* Maintain regular communication with customers regarding vehicle progress
* Liaise with the workshop to chase work in progress and ensure timely completion
* Upsell additional products and services, including service plans and warranty options where applicable
* Take payments and process customer invoices accurately
* Build rapport with customers to promote trust and satisfaction
* Ensure high standards of customer service are delivered at all times
* Support the team in achieving departmental and business objectives
* Experience with warranty procedures and authorisation is desirable but not essential
Requirements of a Service Advisor
* Minimum of two years' recent experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the motor trade
* Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings efficiently
* IT proficiency; experience with Kerridge, Keyloop, or similar DMS is advantageous
* Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures is beneficial but not essential
* Passion for the automotive industry and a keen interest in representing a reputable manufacturer
