GSL Education is currently looking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a position at one of our schools in Swanwick. We are seeking an individual with a genuine passion for supporting diverse learners and experience working with students. This role requires a compassionate, dedicated professional who can provide tailored support and help students thrive in their learning journey.
1:1Teaching Assistant Role:
* Assisting students in defining and reaching their academic objectives.
* Working in tandem with educators to devise and execute customised educational strategies.
* Aiding students in managing day-to-day responsibilities and tasks.
* Offering emotional reinforcement and motivation.
* Tracking student advancement and communicating updates to instructors.
* Delivering support within standard classroom environments.
* Collaborating with teachers on lesson structuring and readiness.
* Guiding students through classroom and homework assignments.
1:1Teaching Assistant Requirements:
* Must hold a relevant qualification in teaching or education.
* Previous experience working within a school setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
To work with GSL Education as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you should:
* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
* Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
