Role: Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Manager

We are on the hunt for an ‘Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Manager’ to come and join our Finance team… this could be your opportunity to join the sweet life of HARIBO!
To enable HARIBO sugary success, within this role you will report into one of our Financial Controllers and lead a team of five within our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function.

Accounts payable:
1. Working with the UK business and group to ensure invoices are paid within vendor payment terms
2. Managing supplier queries and relationships and the employee expenses system
3. Critically reviewing the accounts payable environment
4. Taking full ownership of the accounts payable process
5. Managing the monthly close of accounts payable information and supporting the management accounts team with reporting and analysis
6. Assisting with the preparation of the year-end audit file and liaison with auditors
Accounts receivable:
7. Devising and leading the credit control and pre-legal procedures
8. Driving the credit control function forwards and coaching and supporting internal colleagues in credit control techniques
9. Supporting with weekly cash flow forecasting and authorising new credit account applications
10. Managing problem aged accounts and taking responsibility for the AR ledger cash collection
11. Manging customer queries and relationships
12. Working with the credit control team to control debtor days and increase cash collections
13. Assisting with the preparation of the year-end audit file and liaison with auditors
Can you supply our essential ingredients?
To drive sweet success, the successful candidate must possess SAP expertise (this is a real non-negotiable), have automated AP workflow process implementation experience as well as advanced Excel and data manipulation abilities!
To thrive within this role, we’re looking for expertise in managing a high volume of invoices and payments. Are you someone really excels within a fast-paced environment and isn’t afraid of tight deadline? Do you also have good working knowledge of typical large business processes?

We are also looking for a candidate who possesses strong interpersonal skills and can confidently communicate with both financial and non-financial colleagues, senior management as well as external stakeholders.
