Key Responsibilities: * Manage and grow existing customer accounts within the Household & Beauty sectors (chemicals & ingredients for those sectors). * Promote a diverse portfolio of speciality products and value-added services. * Drive profitable growth by identifying opportunities, converting leads, and securing repeat business. * Schedule and conduct customer meetings (virtual and face-to-face), working to set sales and contact quotas. * Maintain accurate customer records and activity logs using CRM systems, including quotations, samples, and visit notes. * Collaborate with Technical Sales Managers and other internal stakeholders to maximise commercial opportunities. * Resolve customer queries efficiently and build lasting relationships that foster loyalty and trust. * Monitor sales trends, track performance, and report on competitor activity. * Contribute to pricing and quoting processes, ensuring competitiveness and commercial viability. Candidate Profile: * Proven experience in internal sales, account management, or customer-facing roles. * Background in chemicals, beauty, or cleaning products is highly desirable. * A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong commercial instincts. * Confident negotiator and communicator, able to build rapport quickly. * Well-organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. * Comfortable working closely with sales teams and cross-functional departments. * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle – essential. * Proficient with CRM systems, MS Office, and general IT tools.
