A leading financial institution is seeking a Collateral Operations Analyst to join their Prime Services division, providing maternity cover for a minimum of 6 months. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone interested in financial markets to work in a client-facing operations environment within a dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurate distribution of client margin statements
* Investigating and resolving margin deficits and related queries
* Daily interaction with hedge fund clients and internal stakeholders
* Reconciliation of collateral balances and resolution of breaks
* Supporting the wider team with operational and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For:
* A finance graduate or individual with relevant experience seeking their next step in operations
* Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with clients directly
* Basic understanding of trading products (e.g., equities, derivatives)
* Knowledge of hedge funds and awareness of different strategies
* Good understanding of the regulatory landscape within financial markets
* Organized and proactive, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
