We are seeking a Chair to lead our North Tees & Hartlepool Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) to review, shape, and enhance maternity services.
About MNVP
The Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) is an independently led group dedicated to reviewing and supporting local maternity and neonatal services. It listens to service users, co-produces service design and implementation, and supports the LMNS in quality assurance and surveillance.
An active MNVP that represents and supports service users is crucial for service improvement. Candidates should demonstrate experience as a service user of Maternity and/or Neonatal Services or regular work with expectant or new parents, and must not be employed by North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.
Role and Responsibilities
* Lead the MNVP in its mission to incorporate service users' voices into decision-making processes.
* Spend approximately 3-4 days per month on MNVP activities.
* Remuneration is £150 per day, paid as expenses.
* This is a two-year appointment, with independence from the Trust.
