Electrical Design Engineer – AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN – 2-5 years experience ideal – Greater Manchester – £36-44k + overtime

Samuel Frank is recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a very well established, Greater Manchester based specialist engineering business. The successful Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have at least 2 years experience designing electrical systems using one of the major CAD packages such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical or ideally, EPLAN.
Key aspects of the Electrical Design Engineer role include;
* Engineering department will arrange for you to attend a 2 week EPLAN course if you haven’t already got existing/suitable EPLAN knowledge
* Control panel layouts, General Arrangements & schematics for bespoke, one off machines
* Cable sizing experience to suit pump and motor specifications
* PLC/HMI selection
* Timeserved with NVQ Level 3 or educated to HNC/HND level
* The Lead Electrical Engineer will help guide and mentor you
* Office based role, 37 hours per week with an earlier finish on Fridays. Flexitime system in place so the successful Electrical Design Engineer could start earlier and finish earlier if preferred.
* Company has a full order book and they’re recruiting for a new Electrical Design Engineer to help support the existing team with the volume of work they’re getting through
* Ideally have 2-5 years Electrical Design Engineer experience using any of the major CAD packages
* Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship
* One stage, face to face interview process
(please note, for the EPLAN training, a retainer clause will be in place to prevent someone attending the course and leaving afterwards)
The client’s premises are commutable from the following places – Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Denton, Bolton, Bury, Blackburn and Burnley.
