Our client is looking for an IT Trainer to join their IT team. The role involves delivering IT training to new employees, conducting refresher sessions, creating training materials, and devising effective testing methods to ensure staff proficiency in using the company’s IT systems and software. The IT Trainer will also support the development of an online library of training materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding Training: Conduct IT induction for new hires tailored to their roles, ensuring proficiency in IT systems and software.
Refresher Training: Identify training needs and deliver regular refresher sessions, updating materials as necessary.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Implement innovative training methods, stay updated on tech trends, and work with IT support to incorporate solutions into training. Collaborate with department heads to align training with business needs.
Person Specification:
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
Organized, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficient in both in-person and online training.
Analytical and innovative, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Patient, approachable, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to developing others.
Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Technical Knowledge:
Proven IT Trainer experience, ideally in a legal services or professional services environment.
Strong knowledge of IT systems and software.
Familiar with e-learning platforms.
Experience creating engaging training materials.
