Organisation: Spacey – AI-powered, mission-based learning platform for kids Location: Remote | Flexible hours Open to applicants from: India, Philippines, Nigeria, Egypt, Turkey, and globally Duration: 2–3 months Compensation: Unpaid internship with certificate, reference letter, and visible credits on the platform Role Summary Spacey uses AI avatars to guide children through interactive science lessons in a fun, engaging way. We’re looking for a Prompt Engineer / AI Dialogue Designer to bring our digital guide, Pierce, to life. Your role will be to write, structure, and test the conversations between AI and learners. Success in this role looks like: Crafting smooth, age-appropriate, and engaging AI conversations Ensuring Pierce responds with curiosity, kindness, and clarity — even when kids give wrong answers Helping AI explain scientific ideas playfully while encouraging discovery Responsibilities Design prompts and conversation flows using OpenAI’s ChatGPT framework Write and test system prompts to shape Pierce’s tone and personality Create few-shot examples to guide the AI’s response style Anticipate likely student answers and write smart, positive reactions for each Work closely with content writers and the learning designer to ensure scientific and pedagogical accuracy Help test and tweak ChatGPT responses for clarity and tone Qualifications Experience using ChatGPT or other LLM tools Strong written English and ability to think in dialogue format Interest in educational psychology, storytelling, or conversational UX Familiarity with prompt structure, system/user/assistant roles Bonus: Knowledge of STEM topics or experience working with AI projects What You’ll Gain Real-world experience designing conversations for an AI tutor Certificate and personalised reference Opportunity to influence how AI and children interact in a learning space Your dialogue featured in a live platform for young learners Flexible, remote teamwork with a friendly crew of creatives and developers
